10.30 Helsinki City Tour
The tour focuses on the fresh and surprising character of Helsinki. During the tour you will be introduced to the main attractions of Helsinki as well as to some of the hot spots of the local design scene and explore different types of urban phenomena and venues. You will also discover a few delicious secrets of Helsinki’s food culture. Explore and be inspired!
12.30 Sunday brunch at Restaurant Sunn
Restaurant Sunn is located right in the middle of the city centre next to the Senate Square. The view from the second floor window is spectacular depending on the time of the year. The restaurant with its Nordic kitchen offers lunch during weekdays, brunch during weekends and a la carte in evenings.
13.30 Transfer to Nuuksio National Park
One of the most popular national parks in Finland, Nuuksio is within easy reach of the Finnish capital where you can escape into wild natural settings and enjoy typically Finnish scenery with lovely lakes, green forests, and rugged crags.
During the afternoon you get a glimpse of the offering in this nature gem of Espoo and explore some nice activities.
15.00-16.00 Visit the Reindeer Park and afternoon coffee break at the Lappish Teepee
Experience a touch of North in Finland's southernmost private reindeer park in Nuuksio National Park. During the visit, you have the possibility to feed reindeers and enjoy coffee by the open fire. You will hear more about the company Sea & Mountain Adventures and its services.
16.00-16.45 Guided nature walk
In Nuuksio there are several marked hiking trails for all kinds of outdoor enthusiasts whether you´re traveling alone, with friends or family, or with a group. The area's versatile services offer visitors a wide range of options, from wine tasting in the woods to mushroom picking and from canoeing to cycling, for example.
Your group will dive deep into the Finnish nature with a professional guide who takes you on wider trails and unmarked forest paths. You’ll learn more about the surrounding environment, Nuuksio’s history and ever changing cycle of nature. Are you familiar with the concept of “Freedom to Roam” yet? Guided nature walk is carried out either on foot or on snowshoes, depending on the weather.
17.00 - 18.00 Guided tour in the exhibitions of Haltia 
The Finnish Nature Center Haltia is a modern exhibition and event centre bringing all Finland’s nature jewels under one roof. Nature from all over Finland, from southern archipelago up till the snowy hills of Lapland and all Finland's 40 National Parks can be experienced here.
The compelling guided tour adds fresh insights into the Finnish nature and its natural phenomena. The manuscript is built around five seasons. The mythology of the national epic Kalevala will make the story of Haltia even more colorful as well as you'll get good insights of well-being effects from nature.
18.00 - 18.45 Transfer to Radisson Blu Hotel Espoo, check-in
After visiting Nuuksio, transfer to the southern part of Espoo for accommodation at Radisson Blu Hotel Espoo. This hotel is located along the Espoo Waterfront Walkway which is a 40-kilometer-long pedestrian and cycling route by the Baltic Sea. The location with free on-site parking and easy access by subway and busses to Helsinki city center enables upscale accommodation in the middle of the beautiful Finnish coastal and marine nature and still not far from the city life.
19.30 Lobby call and a short walk (appr. 1,2 km) through Aalto University campus area to Restaurant Fat Lizard for dinner
20.00 Dinner in Restaurant Fat Lizard
Get ready to loosen your belt! The Fat Lizard Restaurant in Espoo opened the doors in January 2018. They get excited over visually stunning, hand made and abundant food.
In the restaurant they grill, smoke, fry and constantly bake new ideas and seasons and tastes from all around the world are present on the menu, which changes three times a year. To top that they have a large and almost daily changing selection of Fat Lizard and other local craft breweries’ beers.

Site inspection at Heymo .1 by SokosHotels
After breakfast and check-out, a morning walk to Heymo .1 by SokosHotels which is located in the immediate vicinity of Radisson Blu Hotel. This newcomer is opening its doors in April 2022 and you have now a special possibility to get the site inspection of Heymo .1.
10.00 Departure from Espoo
11.30 Arrival to Lahti 
Visit at Teerenpeli Distillery & Brewery's new visitor centre with tasting program
Teerenpeli was chosen the World’s whisky producer 2020!
13.30 Lunch at Restaurant Taivaanranta 
14.45 Departure to Lehmonkärki Resort, located by the second largest lake, Lake Päijänne
Overnight in cosy villas (double & single rooms with own bathroom)
16.15-17.00 Short tour around the resort: HAASI Mirror Houses
17.30-19.30 Lehmonkärki’s sauna world with three different saunas: Iglo sauna, traditional Finnish smoke sauna and Glass panorama sauna & introduction to traditional Finnish sauna treatments at one of the saunas.
Before entering the sauna, you will learn about the importance of the nature in Finnish culture and hear stories of the traditional Finnish beliefs, ancient spells as well as effectiveness of sauna and used materials. You will learn how to use “vihta”.
20.00 Dinner at Lehmonkärki

Sustainable Travel Finland label will make it easier for travel trade and travellers to recognise a tourism company and destination that takes sustainability seriously. The label is only awarded for those companies and destinations that have undergone the entire Sustainable Travel Finland programme and fulfilled the criteria. The programme includes regular auditing and renewal of the label.
