Korundi is the home for Lapland Chamber Orchestra and Rovaniemi Art Museum. Rovaniemi Art Museum sets its main focus on Finnish contemporary art and Northern art.

Rovaniemi is proud to have several major features designed by Alvar Aalto, one of Finland's foremost architects. Let's hear & learn about Aalto's genius vision "the reindeer antler town plan" on a walking tour. The special town plan has central Rovaniemi wrapped inside the reindeer's head, with the sports stadium as the eye. Roads leading north, west and south make up the antlers. Aalto's main work in Rovaniemi is the administrative and cultural centre, also known as the Aalto centre, which consists of Rovaniemi City Hall, Rovaniemi City Library and Lappia House.

Huskies love attention and you will get a chance to interact with them. There will be time to get to know the dogs and their unique characters, as well as a chance to see the workings of the kennel. If you love dogs this is for you! We will enjoy an outdoor lunch at the kennel.
14:00 Visit to local home and handicraft workshop
There are long traditions of making arts and handicrafts out of local materials like wood and reindeer antler in Lapland. You will familiarize with the local handicraft workshop & home of Mrs Irene and Ari Kangasniemi. This talented couple is deeply involved nurturing the traditions of Lapland.
17:30 Check-in at Arctic Light Hotel
The hotel is an essential part of Rovaniemi's history – it used to be the city hall of Rovaniemi after the war times. Nowadays the building features little hints and tips from the past but provides the most comfort of modern way of accommodate in the heart of Rovaniemi.
19:00 Traditional Finnish sauna experience at Floating sauna m/s Erkin Arkki
The tar scenting floating sauna m/s Erkin Arkki has a wood heated sauna in which bathing takes place in a traditional style. We will bathe as the ferry sails and view the beautiful landscape. After sweating it out in the sauna, we will jump into river to cool off. This tradition is said to have health benefits and is a refreshing way to cool down after the heat of the sauna.
After refreshing sauna experience cosy bbq meal and good drinks will be served on the deck of m/s Erkin Arkki.

Let's enjoy the nightlife of Rovaniemi at restaurant Valdemari's Summertime Blues Event Restaurant Valdemari has definitely the most scenic location by the river Kemijoki, next to iconic Lumberjack's Candle Bridge. Live music and traditional pair dancing gives surely festivity mood, so let's dance and feel the Finnish summer happiness.
