Combined with the other strenghts of the Finnish health and well-being sector, testbed activities provide a strong and competitive operating environment
Testbeds provide companies with a real environment for testing and validating ideas, products and services in collaboration with hospital, primary care and home care professionals. Companies receive feedback on their products as early as possible and are also forced to think about what is required for the product to function effectively in a real-life environment. And most importantly, the feedback and user experiences become available at an early stage.
Finnish testbeds are build around the largest university hospitals and hospital districts. The main districts are Oulu, Helsinki, Kuopio, Tampere and Turku.
