This 90 minute webinar will reveal the ease of doing business in Morocco as well as the commercial prospects available to Finnish companies.

A representative of the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports will highlight Morocco's degree of development and the reasons behind the spike in FDI. There will be concrete examples of the benefits of operating in Africa from Morocco, as well as the available investment incentives and financing options. Finally yet importantly, a Finnish company operating in Morocco will provide input on the ease of doing business in Morocco. Other esteemed participants in the webinar include the Ambassador of Finland to Morocco and the Ambassador of Morocco to Finland.

Morocco, known around the globe as a stable and promising business and investment destination, continues to attract foreign enterprises interested in the African market. Recently, the kingdom is one of Africa's top three receivers of Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs). Despite the pandemic global effects, the Kingdom attracted a net flow of foreign direct investment (FDI) totaling 1.2 billion euros in the first eight months of 2021, representing a 16.9% rise from the same time last year.

Today, up to 40 Finnish companies operate actively in Morocco, in the maritime, energy, education, telecommunication and agritech sectors. While the expansion potential of Finnish companies in the country remains substantial, it is sometimes hindered by obsolete biases, relating particularly to the degree of infrastructural development, business culture and mindset and national capabilities

This webinar will provide a good understanding of Morocco’s highly improved business environment. Welcome!
