Business Finland invites you to join an online event on 12 October, 2021 at 10:00 - 11:30 (EEST Helsinki) (14:00 - 15:30 WIB Jakarta) to explore Patimban Port Development project opportunities in Indonesia.
Indonesia has hundreds of small ports throughout the islands making up a total of 1,700. Of these, 111 of these are commercial ports while only 11 are container ports. For this specific reason, Indonesia’s president vowed in his inauguration to build Nautical Highway to effectively connect and navigate routine and schedule ship from west to east Indonesia.
To execute President’s vision, there are many international hubs and ports that are currently designed and built in Indonesia, such as Patimban Port Development in West Java with total investment of USD 2,92 billion, New Priok Development in Jakarta, Kuala Tanjung Port Development in North Sumatra and Bitung International Hub Port in North Sulawesi.
These port developments will all be built as smart ports that will need advanced technology, and might offer opportunities for Finnish companies.
