The webinar will provide a view of the trends and needs with practical insights about the fintech market in Vietnam. We will introduce how Finnish companies can be part of the emerging fintech sector, specifically through a big bank – who is very active in digital banking efforts in Vietnam.

Vietnam has the fastest growing middle class in Southeast Asia, a COVID-resilient GDP growth rate (2.9% in 2020), and a young population that readily embraces new technology. Whilst the country has suffered from COVID-19, the pandemic has also accelerated the uptake of digital services, helping to fuel the growth of 29% in the country’s digital economy and also fuel the fintech ecosystem.

Fintech in Vietnam has become an integral part of financial services for individuals and corporations with the remarkable rise, changing old processes and creating new business models developed through technologies such as blockchain, insurtech and digital banking.
