A new way to enter the US healthcare market is now available to Finnish healthcare companies. A recent Business Finland study established that there are defined opportunities for co-development, partnering, and funding all through different US government agencies.
US healthcare market entry may be easier by working with US government partners. Opportunities in digital health, cancer, robotics, AI, imaging, data, data analytics, health informatics, and regenerative medicine were discovered. Our interviews included discussions with the NIH (National Institutes of Health), NCI (National Cancer Institute), and HHS (Health and Human Services), and MTEC (Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium). MTEC has already suggested a workshop this fall to help Finnish companies enter the US. Join us and grow.

If you are interested in moving forward to become involved with the NIH and DOD healthcare projects, express your interest by 31st October to DH3 & Associates. Their questionnaire will be the basis for the first selection of companies. This selection will be done solely by DH3 & Associates who will also decide which companies will be selected for the detailed discussions.
Next steps in this programme will be as follows:
1. Based on their applications, DH3 will select the companies for the Finnish cohort during early November.
2. DH3 will virtually meet all companies selected for the cohort to become more familiar with their offering and potential – with a follow up webinar followed by speed date and in-depth conversations in November.
3. DH3 & Associates will continue to work with the cohort to brief them on how to work with the DOD and NIH, including arrange a workshop with MTEC during November and December.
