We are happy to invite you to the kick-off seminar of innovation research 2020.

The first theme of the seminar is sustainable growth, leadership, and the roles of SMEs in ecosystems. The second theme is the challenges of innovation activities, the co-operation of innovation actors, and the role of public interventions in RDI activities.

The aim of the innovation research funded by Business Finland is to find solutions to the global challenges of the Finnish economy and society. It also seeks to promote dialogue between researchers and stakeholders, such as policy makers.

In this call, ecosystem-driven projects examine the development of ecosystems from the perspective of sustainable development, the creation, governance and management of innovation ecosystems, and how SMEs get involved in ecosystems. In the remaining innovation-driven projects, the aim is to study the significance of innovation activities from the perspective of work development, the effects of co-operation between innovation actors and the dissemination of knowledge on regional innovation capacity, and to develop empirically tested impact assessment criteria, concepts and methods.
