Batteries from Finland and Business Finland Germany are conducting a webinar to discuss the cooperation possibilities for German and Finnish actors in the European battery value chain. We will discuss in which direction the European battery value chain will grow and what this means for materials, recycle/reuse, machinery electrification and cell manufacturing.

In Germany, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) sees the innovative and sustainable battery cell production as a high priority in achieving the governments targets in clean energy and climate-friendly transport. Germany wants to focus on strengthening the domestic and European market by bringing the key networks and the value chain closer. There is a need for innovative technologies in the German value chain, which opens up opportunities also for foreign companies. The growth in the sales of electric vehicles creates opportunities not only for manufacturing and development of batteries but for materials and recycling as well.

This webinar will function as a kickoff for the Battery Show Stuttgart where Business Sweden, Innovation Norway and Business Finland will organize a joint meeting point for Nordic and international companies.
