We welcome you to learn about the business opportunities to decarbonize the Portuguese industry, with an emphasis on green and digital transition, and to find out about the solutions that Finnish companies can provide.
The webinar is targeted for Finnish companies, who are able to decarbonize industries, and for Portuguese actors involved in decarbonization efforts as well as for everyone else interested in the subject. A special focus will be placed on the decarbonization plans of Portuguese chemical, petrochemical and refinery industry as well as ceramics and glass industry. Other key industrial economic sectors in Portugal are textiles, pulp and paper, automobile, metals, food and beverage, ship construction and building materials.
During the webinar, two tenders will be presented by IAPMEI (the Portuguese public innovation organization in charge of managing the Portuguese Recovery Plan) and the relevant industrial associations will define the needs of the sectors and the type of collaboration wanted from Finnish companies and how to make their tenders competitive. The tenders are funded by Portugal’s Recovery and Resilience plan. Finnish companies have the option to communicate their own solutions in the webinar. After the event, Business Finland will arrange the 1-to-1 meetings between the Finnish and Portuguese companies.

The public tenders on decarbonization of industries are Support for the development of decarbonisation roadmaps for industry and company training (DL 31.3.2022) and Support for the Decarbonisation of Industry (DL 29.4.2022).
