Welcome to join short presentations and an interesting case discussion webinar with Finnish and UK professionals on Monday April 11, at 10 AM (BST)/12 AM (EET). The webinar is organized in co-operation with British Film Institute and targeted to UK professionals in audiovisual industry, but open for everyone interested in topic. 

Event is organized on Teams and it will be recorded. Registered participants will receive a link to recording and the feedback form after the event.

Finland is seeking new partners

Finland is fast earning a reputation for its thriving film-making scene and new award-winning, female-led movies and TV dramas that are capturing new audiences around the world. Film in Finland spreads the word and invites international partners to produce in Finland or with Finnish partners.

The past five years have been ground-breaking for films and TV series produced in Finland. Finland has gained a reputation for high-quality, original content that is exciting and different. Over thirty series are being produced this year alone, a 20% uptick on 2018. Finland is also voted one of the best countries in the world for gender equality and happiness.

Film in Finland

Film in Finland combines Finnish audiovisual industry, filming commissions, associations and governmental organizations under one brand, acting as an umbrella site for services, funding and business opportunities. Since autumn 2021 it provides a customer service point for foreign productions whilst coordinating nationwide enquiry management. Film in Finland is part of Business Finland, the Finnish government organization for innovation funding and trade, travel, and investment promotion.
