Is your company looking for new business opportunities in the wood sector in China?

Sawn softwood and softwood log imports to China continued to grow in 2017. Finland is one of the leading exporters together with Russia, Canada, Sweden and New Zealand. Finnish companies have a very good reputation as reliable suppliers and Chinese customers are prepared to pay more for imported Finnish high quality products than for locally produced.

Join Mr. Jari Leppä, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and discover the business opportunities China has to offer.

The delegation visit will be organized together with Wood from Finland program, which is managed by Business Finland. The program will continue to support its member companies after the visit in the target market.

Sustainability, source efficiency and efforts for improving the quality of wood products in China are the main reasons why Chinese wood trading and industrial companies choose Finnish sawn spruce and pine products.

Wood from Finland program will cover all the costs of the program arrangements in China for the participants who are members of the Wood from Finland program (please note: free participation for 1 delegate / member company).

To cover the expenses for the participants who are not members of the
program, Business Finland will charge a participation fee for arrangements in China on 17 May 2018:

- Micro Businesses and SMEs: EUR 600 + 24% VAT per person
- Major Companies: EUR 1000 + 24% VAT per person

Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above.
