In recent years, circular economy has been a hot topic in the Iberian Peninsula. The recovery from the economic crisis has resulted in increased domestic production and consumption, but the industry has not been capable of adopting more resource-efficient forms of production. This has led to growing amount of waste. Both Portugal and Spain are taking big steps in planning and implementing their national circular economy strategies in order to fight these challenges.

To cover the expenses of arranging the visit to Portugal and Spain, Business Finland will charge a participation fee as follows:
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above.
