South African health industry has been growing at robust rates in the recent years. Health expenditure is divided between the high-quality private sector, which caters clients from South Africa and the neighbouring countries and the overburdened highly skilled public sector that serves the vast majority of South Africans. In recent years, private health spending (€13 billion) has outstripped public spending (€12 billion).

Please also note that in conncection with the Team Finland visit to South Africa, you would also have the possibility to join the Team Finland visit to Ethiopia with Minister Anne-Mari Virolainen on 12-14 March 2018 (focus sectors: agriculture and agro-industry (incl. related land administration), energy, water, sanitation and waste management).
To cover the expenses, Business Finland will charge a participation fee for arrangements in South Africa on 14-16 March 2018
• Micro Businesses and SMEs: EUR 1530 + 24% VAT per person
• Major Companies: EUR 1800 + 24% VAT per person
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above.
