Welcome to join a high-level business delegation visit to Beijing on January 14 – 16, 2019. By taking part in this visit, you will discover new business opportunities in the Chinese winter sports sector, and enhance cooperation in the organization of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games. The main event of the visit is the official opening of the China-Finnish Winter Sport Year 2019.
The China-Finnish Winter Sport Year 2019 will open new opportunities for Finnish sport organizations, institutes and enterprises, research and training institutes, as well as providers of Finnish consumer products.
Year 2019 is a Winter Sports Theme Year between Finland and China. Both sides have committed to promotion and co-operation in the field of winter sports towards Beijing Olympics 2022 and beyond. Both sides will support collaboration of sport organizations, sport institutes and enterprises, research and training in sports as well as holding major sport events.
China is currently developing its Winter Sports Culture as the Olympic host cities Beijing and Zhangjiakou are preparing for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games. Before the 2022 games, China has decided to take this momentum and further develop winter sport activities to over 300 million citizens.
Apart from the plans to build hundreds of hockey arenas, ski resorts and training facilities, China's increasing number of middle-class consumers offers great opportunities for Finnish consumer product companies.
To cover the expenses of arranging the visit to Beijing, Business Finland will charge a participation fee as follows:
- Micro Businesses and SMEs: 1700 EUR + 24% VAT per person
- Major Companies: 2000 EUR + 24% VAT per person
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. If a person stationed in China represents the company, a 25 percent discount will be granted.
