ERA-MIN3 (Raw Materials for the Sustainable Development and the Circular Economy)

ERA-MIN3 is a global, innovative and flexible pan-European network of 26 European and non-European research funding organisations, aiming to continue strengthening the mineral raw materials community through the coordination of research and innovation programmes on non-fuel and non-food raw materials (metallic, construction, and industrial minerals). Each consortium must comprise at least three independent legal entities eligible and requesting funding from the participating Funding Organisations of at least three different countries where at least two countries are an EU Member State or an EU Associated Country (Turkey) named in this call. Business Finland participates in the call, targeting its funding especially to domestic companies. Funding can also be granted to public research organizations if at least two Finnish companies are involved in the consortium. ERA-MIN3 call opens January 15th 2021.

M-ERA.NET3 (Research and innovation for materials technologies and applications)

Building on its predecessor M-ERA.NET3 is an EU funded network for RDI -projects addressing technologies and applications related to e.g. surfaces, coatings, composites, additive manufacturing or integrated materials modelling. Projects on materials supporting the RDI initiatives on future battery technologies will be highlighted. M-ERA.NET3 funding aims at supporting particularly the circular economy and Sustainable Development Goals. M-ERA.NET3 network consists of 29 EU member states and associated states as well as 6 non-European countries. Business Finland participates in the call, targeting its funding especially to companies in Finland. Funding can be granted to public research organizations when at least two Finnish companies are involved in the project consortium. Also Academy of Finland participates in the call as a funding organization.
