Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic both German and Finnish economies are currently facing major challenges. The challenges have brought on a need for large structural renewals, which is in turn opening up opportunities for cooperation between Finnish and German companies, and in the trade between the two countries.

Finland is one of the world's most advanced digital societies, having applied digital technologies in many business environments for much of the new Millennium. Finland also is a superpower in bio-economy and one of the leading countries in circular economy.

Team Finland is driving digital and sustainable solutions and building on the excellent business ties between Germany and Finland. With that, we are now organizing a virtual Ministerial Delegation to Germany on 29th October, with special high level guests leading the discussion;

  • Mr. Mika Lintilä, Minister of Economic Affairs,
  • Mr. Ville Skinnari, Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade,
  • Ms. Anne Sipiläinen, Ambassador of Finland to Germany

In addition to the high-level discussion, workshops focusing on experiences and best practices in selected sectors, will highlighting success cases, and offer contacts and collaboration opportunities for companies from both countries.
