Mr. Ville Skinnari, Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of Finland will visit Tanzania and Mozambique on 24 - 28 February 2020. As part of the Minister’s official visit, Business Finland and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland will organize a business roundtable discussion in each country.

The discussion will focus on large-scale solutions on infrastructure,  construction and mining as well as forestry, providing an excellent opportunity to engage with local stakeholders. The preliminary topics of the roundtables are

1) The business environment in Tanzania/Mozambique (latest developments)
2) Companies’ experiences of doing business in Tanzania/Mozambique
3) Presentation of the Finnish expertise in various sectors

In addition to the roundtables, the participating companies are invited to join a networking reception organized by the Finnish Embassy in each country
– on 25 February in Tanzania and on 27 February in Mozambique.

For these events, we welcome companies who already have large-scale operations in Tanzania and/or Mozambique.

Who should attend?

These roundtable discussions are targeted at Finnish companies who already have established large-scale operations in Tanzania and/or Mozambique.

Participation fee

Due to the nature of this visit, neither the Finnish Embassies in Tanzania and Mozambique nor Business Finland will organize other program such as B2B meetings, travel arrangements, local travel or accommodation for the participants.
Attendance to the roundtables is free of charge, however, requires a binding pre-registration via the link on the left.
