Business Finland together with other team Finland players, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST) is organizing a China-Finland Technological Winter Olympic Games Online Matchmaking Event on Tuesday 30 November, 2021 at 09:00 – 12:00 (EST Helsinki) / 15:00 – 18:00 (CST Beijing).
The Beijing Winter Olympics are approaching. Finland and China have had good collaboration in Winter sports and 2019 was the China-Finland winter sports thematic year. Finland has built up an image as a "strong country in winter sports" and has established a good relationship with Chinese counterparts in supporting their mission: "300 million people engaging in ice and snow activities" in China.
In order to close the loop that was started in 2019, we want to celebrate the winter sports theme and related innovation & business opportunities through a matchmaking event including speeches from high-level officials and athletes as well as companies and universities from both countries.
We welcome all interested participants to register for the event, at the latest on 28 November, 2021.

Note that the final agenda and speakers will be confirmed closer to the event and will be shared to all registered participants together with the online participation link one day prior to the event.
Practicalities
Attendance to the online matchmaking event is free of charge, however, requires a registration via the link above.
Business Finland will inform the registered companies on November 20 if they have been selected by the Chinese counterpart to give a company pitch. All interested participants are welcome to join the online event as participants.
Online participants will receive a link to join by e-mail one day prior to the event. The platform is Zoom. Please note that the online matchmaking event language is in English/Chinese, simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
