In China, the traditional concept of elderly care is the responsibility of the children. However, with rapid population ageing, fast urbanization, and higher incidence of chronic diseases, the society is adapting new ways of care of the senior citizens. Therefore, senior homes play a significant role. The Yangtze River Delta Region is considered as a priority area for the development of middle- and high end senior care facilities in China because of its wealthy population and people's willingness to pay a premium for good service.
Business Finland China together with Smart Life Finland program invite Finnish health tech companies interested in the Chinese elderly care market to participate in this Hybrid meeting on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 09:00 – 11:40 (Finnish time). The goal of the event is to explore commercial opportunities of working with one of the largest elderly care operators in Yangtze River Delta Region. The Chinese counter partner will select Finnish company representatives, to the hybrid meeting, among registered companies.
This event is a part of Business Finland event series that started with Finland-China Joint Innovation Calls 2021 Launch in June 2021.

Business Finland will inform the registered companies on October 18 if they have been selected by Yangtze River Delta Region elderly care operators to participate in the hybrid matchmaking meeting.
Selected companies will have the possibility for a short company pitching during the meeting.
The onsite part of the event will be taking place in Shanghai, exact address will be informed to the selected companies. Online participants will receive a link to join the event by e-mail one day prior to the event. The platform is Zoom.
