Welcome to make use of an opportunity to get in contact with potential customers in the German Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt in the field of Smart Energy and Smart Cities 1 March at 13:00-16:00 Finnish time.

The Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt is conducting a virtual political delegation to meet with selected Finnish Smart City Ecosystems on 1 March. During the virtual event high-ranking officials from both countries will present their aims and discuss bilateral relations. There will be presentations from Smart Otaniemi, the Smart District of Kalasatama and Siemens Vibeco amongst others. For more information (in German), please visit.

The seminar program

Different shareholders in Saxony-Anhalt, such as the City of Magdeburg, utilities, companies and research institutes, are currently seeking business and cooperation partners to hear and learn more about solutions and products in the field of Smart Energy and Smart Cities.  

As Finland is one of the forerunners in this field, the Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt, including public and private stakeholders, are looking forward to having bilateral discussions with players from Finland in the field of Smart Energy and Smart City solutions, as they are aware that actions need to be taken in order to reach the following goals:

  • higher quality of life for its citizens
  • reaching environmental targets
  • cost savings

The virtual event Enterprise Europe Network Sachsen-Anhalt (EEN) will conduct online-business meetings on 2 March 2021 (10:00-17:00) with Finnish companies (if not agreed different, meetings will be in English).
