The development potential of the New Space arises primarily through the interplay of new and more cost-efficient technologies and processes and, at the same time, constantly growing commercial application possibilities in the globally networked world.
This event provided insights on current developments in the New Space Economy sector in Finland, in both on-orbit technologies and the economic value creation in down steam markets to improve life on earth. Moreover, it discussed the current technological developments and trends in the German space market. The event also emphasised the question: "how to create value for the space sector by cross-border collaboration?"
With the participation of DLR – German Space Agency and the company TESAT, our Finnish members received insights on the German perspective on how the New Space Economy will develop in the future, and what current challenges the industry might be facing and new business models they are aiming to implement.
While presenting concrete use-cases and tangible solutions “Made in Finland”, we also invited the audience to interact with the representing companies in our Q&A sessions during the event. The webcast provided a forum where experts, integrators, manufacturers and applicators could discuss how German and Finnish companies can jointly address the emerging business opportunities.
