This is a business opportunity for Finnish companies to assist in contributing to the Danish green transition towards a CO2 reduction of 70 percent by 2030. Massive investments are being rolled out with the Energy Islands that are set to produce and export electricity and renewable green hydrogen, which requires a lot of new infrastructure and services. The online program will focus on the Finnish-Danish collaboration on Energy Island concepts, and also aims at creating future partnerships to the Finnish green transition. Team Finland, in cooperation with Team Renewable Arctic Finland, will organize an online Ministerial Delegation visit to Denmark on April 27 - 28 led by Mr. Ville Skinnari, Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade. The online program provides concrete possibilities to learn from and engage with major Danish players such as Ørsted, Vestas, Siemens Gamesa and Copenhagen Infrastructural Partners (CIP). In addition, you will be able to pitch your solutions to a relevant audience, participate in B2B meetings and in topic-specific workshops, expand professional and personal networks, obtain key insight to the Danish renewable energy sectors and the sustainable Danish transition as well as lay the foundation for ongoing dialogue with Danish stakeholders on Energy Island developments.

Who should attend?
This visit is tailored for Finnish companies providing offerings within wind energy sector, maritime & offshore constructions, energy infrastructure, smart-grids and Ptx solutions. The goal of the visit is to establish new business connections: e.g. become a trusted supplier or subcontractor or even a partner to a global industry. You will have the opportunity to meet with business owners, procurement and technical managers and explore avenues of cooperation. Danish wind energy companies are also expanding their activities in Finland, it is a two-way street.

Please note that the participation in the delegation requires preliminary work such as setting the targets for the visit, registering to the b2match event platform and filling in your company information and arranging the 1:1 meetings on the platform etc., as well as, active participation and follow-up during and after the event.
