We invite you to join the Team Finland visit to Rotterdam, The Netherlands, led by Mr. Mika Lintilä, Minister of Economic Affairs of Finland, on 2-4 November 2021.

The visit will bring together Finland-based and Dutch companies with public sector organizations and innovation networks. The Finnish Business Delegation aims to meet key shipbuilding/maritime decision-makers of the Greater Rotterdam Region as well as organize meetings within shipbuilding, innovation ecosystems and networks. The Business Delegation program includes the Europort Rotterdam exhibition. The exhibition dates are 2-5 November, and the business delegation will visit the exhibition on 3 November.

Europort is one of the world’s leading maritime meeting places. This year’s event focuses on digitalization, energy transition and ship finance. In 2019, the exhibition gathered 27 000 professional visitors and 1.100 exhibiting companies.

Why the Netherlands

For centuries, the maritime sector has been one of the most iconic, and significant elements of the thriving Dutch economy. Dutch maritime leans on innovation and the sector’s R&D spending figures are high above international averages.
