This year the Finland-Taiwan Business Forum will be organized as a hybrid event. Participants in Taiwan will gather in Taipei while Finnish participants are invited to join the event online.

Why Taiwan?

Smart health and information security are key focus industries for the Taiwanese government. Taiwan has a very well-established healthcare industry and it is among the leading countries in healthcare system, national health insurance and health data. Not to mention, Taiwan has a strong ICT industry, which could help the digitalization and the application of AIoT technology in the health sector.

As for security needs, Taiwan is an important player for ICT industries’ global supply chains. For example, semiconductor, computer design and manufacturing among other things are in high demand. Application of AIoT in the manufacturing sector is a trend in Taiwan with strong policy support. In this light, cybersecurity is becoming a key matter for all the industries.
