Mr. Ville Skinnari, Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, will be visiting Portugal on September 21-24, 2021. The target of this visit it to support Finnish companies on their ongoing projects in Portugal and get insights on the possibilities Portugal has to offer Finnish businesses under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
The RRF is the key instrument at the heart of NextGenerationEU, the EU's plan for emerging stronger from the COVID-19 pandemic. During the visit, the Minister will meet his Portuguese counterparts and other public authorities. The target of the visit is also to find out possibilities where Portugal could support Finland in strategic partnerships in third markets.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in Portugal, only a small amount of companies will be allowed onsite. The visit is offered mainly to companies who are already established in Portugal.
Following the visit later this fall, the Team Finland network will organize a webinar followed by a B2B session where participants will be able to deepen their understanding of the status of the Portuguese market as well as on RRF possibilities.
