Finland-China MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology) Joint Innovation Call Hybrid Matchmaking Event on Friday 23 September at 09:00 – 13:00 (EET Helsinki) / 14:00 – 18:00 (CST Beijing) aims to help innovation-driven Finnish companies to find potential partners or customers and to establish solid R&D and business relationships between Finnish and Chinese companies for the annual Finland-China MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology of China) joint innovation call and beyond.

    Especially waste and wastewater (smart and circular solutions)

    Especially sports medicine and rehabilitation

The matchmaking event is held in parallel with the Zhongguancun Forum which is organized by MOST, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Association for Science and Technology, and The People's Government of Beijing Municipality. Since 2007, it has been a national platform facilitating global exchanges and cooperation on high-tech innovation.

Who should attend?

Finnish organizations (either companies or research organizations representing a co-innovation project) that are operating in areas relevant to the joint innovation call topics, driven by innovations, interested in the Chinese market and willing to work with local Chinese partner.

Practicalities

Attendance to the hybrid event is free of charge, however, it requires a registration via the link above. Depending on the COVID-19 situation in China, the event will be organized in either hybrid or total online format. Participation from Finland is through the online option for both pitching organizations and audience.

Business Finland will inform the registered pitching organizations by the end of August if they have been jointly selected by Business Finland and Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST) for the pitching session. The organizations not selected as pitchers are welcome to join the event as audience.
