As a follow-up to last year’s successful hybrid delegation Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of Finland, Mr. Ville Skinnari, will visit Denmark with a Team Finland business delegation on April 7-8, 2022. The focus of this visit is on decarbonizing industries with a special emphasis on Hydrogen, Green Fuels & Carbon Capture.
Denmark is aiming to be a green frontrunner in global climate action and reduce emissions 70% by 2030 and reach climate neutrality by 2050. The significant European focus and funding on green transition goes well with Denmark's strategy. That said, there is a need for strong international ecosystems and partnerships, which is why we are inviting you to join this fact-finding and matchmaking delegation visit. The aim of the visit is to explore key players, technologies and ecosystems in order to find the right match, not only in Denmark which is a solid test bed for the German market, but also for the international hydrogen green fuels and carbon capture scene.
This visit provides concrete possibilities to learn from and engage with major Danish players such as Haldor Topsoe, Copenhagen Airport & SAS, Orsted and Maersk. In addition, you will be able to pitch your solutions to a relevant audience, participate in B2B meetings and industry specific workshops. Aside from this, it is an opportunity to expand professional and personal networks, obtain key insight to the Danish Green transition as well as lay the foundation for ongoing dialogue with Danish stakeholders within hydrogen, carbon capture and sustainable fuel.
The visit is tailored for Finnish companies working within the Green transition, with focus on decarbonizing industries with a special emphasis on Hydrogen, Green Fuels & Carbon Capture, especially industries within Aviation, PtX & CCUS, Maritime, Road transportation and other areas of green mobility. We urge anyone with a sustainable business model to attend this delegation and find out about the best practice from a Danish perspective on technology, business models and legislation aimed at the above-mentioned Industry areas.
We are closely following the Covid-19 travel restrictions and any possible changes related to them. Denmark is open to fully vaccinated visitors and they are exempt from quarantine, and from presenting a negative Covid-19 test result.

The cost estimate is calculated based on 10 companies participating. Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above.
