Business Finland together with the Finnish Food Authority (Ruokavirasto) and the Embassy of Finland in China will provide one-on-one coaching  on how to register in CIFER.

  • The bookings are assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis
  • Each company can register one time slot
  • All time slots will share the same Teams meeting link, join meeting ONLY during your booked 20 minutes time slot.

Background Introduction

In April 2021, the General Administration of Customs in China (GACC) released the Regulation on Registration and Administration of Foreign Manufacturers of Imported Food (Decree 248) and the Administrative Measures on Import and Export Food Safety (Decree 249). These Decrees entered into effect on Jan 1, 2022. All manufacturers of food products exported to China need to undergo registration through the CIFER system, and exporters, importers, and warehouses also need to comply and be aware of the new requirements.

During October 2021 – February 2022, Food from Finland has organized three Team Finland policy debriefings in order to assist Finnish food manufacturers and exporters.
