When comparing the impact of artificial intelligence on economic growth, Finland ranks second among 11 developed countries. AI in Finland has been applied extensively to research and education, government, as well as business life including building autonomous ships, moderating the Internet, improving clinical healthcare and diagnoses with AI, just to name a few. Finland was also one of the first countries in 2017 to create a national AI strategy.
