Are you a leading academic, innovator, entrepreneur or researcher looking for an opportunity to help Europe recover from the crisis through innovation? Do you want to help Europe transition to a greener, healthier and more sustainable future? Then the EIT has an opportunity for you.
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is an EU body created by the European Union in 2008 to strengthen Europe’s ability to innovate. The EIT is an integral part of Horizon 2020, the EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
The EIT is selecting up to four new members for its Governing Board. The EIT Governing Board consists of 12 European innovation leaders appointed by the European Commission for a four-year mandate. The Board provides the EIT’s strategic leadership and is independent in its decision-making. More specifically, the Board is responsible for the selection, designation and evaluation of the EIT’s Knowledge and Innovation Communities.
The Call of Expression of Interest is now open: apply until 30 September 2020 to help drive Europe’s ability to innovate. All information, including the Call for Expression of Interest and application form, can be found from EIT’s website.
