The Helsinki Distilling Company became operational in 2014 as the first distillery in Helsinki for over a century. The distillery is in Teurastamo, the former abattoir and now the food culture heart of Helsinki. Here premium gin, whiskey and other spirits from the best local ingredients are hand-crafted with flair. A historic two-story building, which used to be a power plant, is also a home to our visitor center with tours and tastings and as well as European bistro food is served.
