You will ride to the Amethyst mine with a powerful, electrically assisted fatbike. Bliss' guide will take you to the top of Lampivaara fell (small mountain) where you can enjoy the very top view of the area, over the Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Then you will be seated in wooden shelter, shipping warm berry beverages, and listening the facts and fictions of this fascinating purple gemstone. After the story moment you will be heading to the digging area. Each visitor will be able to dig for their own personal lucky amethyst

18:00 Cooking class at the Reindeer Farm Jaakkola
Take a visit to our reindeer farm and learn to cook Lappish delicacies with a local knowledge at our lovely 60-seated kota restaurant. During the cooking class you will prepare a three-course dinner together with us by using local ingredients as forest mushrooms, berries, local root vegetables and good quality reindeer meat from our own herd. We will also set the tables, light the candles, and finally enjoy the tasty meal on the heat of the flaming fire. While enjoying a sweet dessert, you will hear relaxing drumming and calming Sámi joik performed by your farm hostess

Here is a great possibility for you to get out more from the wild nature of the Pyhä-Luosto National Park. This trail goes through the beautiful forest and continues over the aapa mire where you can climb up to birdwatching tower for watching the bird life on the bog.
