Ecosystems supported by Business Finland are open to Finnish companies, research organisations, public actors and other organisations that commit to cooperation and a common goal.

Ecosystems are cooperation networks in which different actors solve common challenges and develop solutions for the international market. 

To participate, you must:

• Commitment to a common goal
• Systematic and long-term cooperation
• Sharing knowledge and expertise in an agreed manner
• Readiness to work as part of an internationalising network

Ecosystems can also include:

• Competing companies that cooperate in areas such as research, the development of the operating environment or the promotion of exports
• Foreign actors that bring added value to the internationalisation of the ecosystem
• Private and public organizations that support the ecosystem's goals
