Business Finland, member of the Team Finland Network is providing services for international business delegations that are visiting Finland. The purpose of such visits is to promote and explore areas of mutual benefit and collaboration, share knowledge, and form new business partnerships.

Visiting delegations often consist of heads of states, government ministers, senior administrators and authorities, members of academia, and representatives of private companies. The focus of the provided program in Finland is on B2B interactions between foreign and Finnish companies as well as hosting seminars, workshops and company visits.
By participating in the program with the foreign business delegates, Finnish companies gain first-hand knowledge about the needs, possibilities and areas of synergy that the cooperation could offer in the future. Establishing contacts and networking with foreign guests from different parts of the world in Finland is saving time and money, and is an ideal way to test how the offering compares to the competition in the marketplace. During the past years, Business Finland has hosted annually around 40 incoming delegations.
Inbound delegations
Business Finland welcomes and hosts high-level foreign business delegations in Finland in collaboration with other Team Finland partners.
The purpose of foreign business delegations' visits to Finland is to establish connections with Finnish companies and decision-makers, conduct business, and find new, innovative forms of cooperation that benefit both parties.
Inbound delegations are often led by a head of state, a government minister, a high-ranking official, an expert, or a representative of an academy, accompanied by a business delegation comprising companies from one or more sectors. The focus of the visit program is on interaction between companies.
Business Finland organizes networking events with foreign guests, offering opportunities for personal interaction, knowledge sharing, and familiarization with what different sectors have to offer. These events provide Finnish companies with an opportunity to promote their own international business and an effortless way to market their expertise, products, and services, as well as to discuss concrete forms of cooperation.
In recent years, Business Finland has hosted approximately 40 high-level business delegations annually and helped Finnish companies network.
Outbound visits
Outbound trade promotion visits can be found in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs' visit calendar.
Visits are organized regularly by the Foreign Ministry in cooperation with the other Team Finland organizations, based on companies' needs and areas of interest. The Foreign Ministry's Trade Promotion Unit is in charge of the visits.
