Digital therapeutics are transforming healthcare by offering scalable, evidence-based tools for disease management and patient support. In Finland, the national Digital Therapy Pilot is currently paving the way for a permanent model to integrate these digital solutions into the public healthcare system.
The pilot focuses on evaluating how research-based digital applications can be effectively prescribed and distributed across wellbeing services counties. By streamlining the path from clinical evaluation to patient use, the project aims to ensure equal access to high-quality digital care for all Finnish citizens.
In this webinar, Leena Soininen, Chief Medical Officer at DigiFinland, will provide an up-to-date overview of the pilot's progress, including a review of the initial feedback gathered from different actors in the pilot. The session will also cover how this national model addresses the challenges of reimbursement, procurement, and integration into existing care pathways.
Orla DTx and Sensotrend will also present the objectives of the pilot from their own perspectives.
