Info day: Innovation Fund call 2025

The 2025 calls of the Innovation Fund opened on 4 December 2025. At our info session, the European Commission’s executive agency CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency) will present the scope of the calls, evaluation criteria and practical tips for applicants. The presentations will be given in English.

The Innovation Fund is one of the world’s largest funding programmes for low-carbon industry and first-of-a-kind investment projects. It covers sectors such as energy-intensive industries, renewable energy, energy storage, carbon capture and storage, as well as transport (including the maritime sector) and buildings.

Finnish applicants have performed very well in previous calls, and especially those participating on site will now have an excellent opportunity to discuss directly with CINEA representatives and improve their chances of success in this year’s call.

In the afternoon, following the main info session, there will be an opportunity to book bilateral 25-minute meetings with CINEA experts. Interest is to be indicated via a separate form. We will confirm selected meetings in advance: meetings will be offered primarily to applicants whose projects are considered suitable for the call and sufficiently advanced in their preparation.
