The visit connects Finnish innovators with Norway’s top quantum stakeholders, including government representatives, research institutes, universities, and industry leaders. Participants will explore Norway’s national quantum strategy, ecosystem development, co-funding instruments, and market opportunities.

The program is designed to support business development and RDI cooperation by enabling direct dialogue with key players, promoting Finnish quantum solutions, and identifying opportunities for joint projects, partnerships, and commercial collaboration.

The day will conclude with an evening reception at the Finnish Embassy. The event will feature keynote speeches by leading private sector companies actively advancing quantum technologies, followed by dedicated networking opportunities for participants.

Quantum Business Opportunity in Norway?

Norway launched its first major quantum technology initiative in August 2025, aiming to build a strong ecosystem in this field. The program, led by the Research Council of Norway, seeks to unite industry, academia, and research institutions for business-focused quantum solutions. Key players include companies like Kongsberg, known for driving innovation in this area.

Practicalities

To cover the costs of arranging the visit to Oslo, Norway, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.

Micro businesses and SMEs: 270 EUR + 25,5% VAT per person
Major companies: 320 EUR + 25,5% VAT per person

Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.

The visit will be confirmed upon the registration of a minimum of ten companies.
