China's energy market is one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving in the world. China's energy transition from traditional fossil fuels to cleaner, more sustainable energy sources represents a massive market potential. This shift is gaining momentum due to environmental pressures, the government's policy commitments to carbon neutrality, technological advancements, and changing economic structures. It encompasses a multitude of sectors from renewables to smart grids, energy storage, efficiency technologies, and waste to energy, each with significant market potential. This transition is strongly supported by the Chinese government's policies and investments, which offers substantial opportunities for businesses and investors in China and globally.

On August 27-28, NEA (China National Energy Administration) is planning to organize the 3rd China-Europe Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation Forum in Guangzhou city, Guangdong province. As one of the largest platform for China-EU cooperation in fields of energy, related government authorities, key industrial stakeholders, and a big number of prestigious Chinese energy companies from both state-owned and private sector will be invited to present.

As a side event of the Forum, Business Finland, in cooperation with NEA, is planning to organize a China-Finland Energy Cooperation seminar at 14:00-17:00, August 27. Many Chinese local energy companies and stakeholders will present in the event, and a variety of new energy cooperation topics will be discussed. It will pose a good opportunity to promote Finnish offerings and potential business opportunities. Besides, agreed with EPPEI, the implement organization for China-Finland energy cooperation assigned by NEA, we plan to leverage the event to recruit potential candidates for CN-FIN energy pilot projects.

The optional participation modes could be physical or online.
