Join the trade and innovation mission to Grenoble, France on 21-23 October 2024, led by Business Finland's Chips Campaign, for a valuable opportunity to explore the French semiconductor ecosystem and market.

Grenoble is known as the Silicon Valley of France, and it is a pivotal hub for semiconductor technology in Europe. Grenoble is home to key industrial entities and prime research institutions, including the national research center CEA-Leti, STMicroelectronics, Soitec, and Xfab.

Grenoble's reputation as a critical node in the European semiconductor industry is highlighted by its recent significant investments, such as the joint announcement by GlobalFoundries and STMicroelectronics of a €7.5 billion plan for a new semiconductor factory. Furthermore, the CEA-Leti-led consortium has recently secured a substantial grant from the European Chips Act for developing an FD-SOI technology pilot line serving SMEs.
