We invite your company to take part in the Agriwaste to Value trade mission to Bangkok, Thailand, on November 10–13, 2025.

This trade mission builds on the momentum of UusiPuu ("New Wood"), a Finnish-led bioeconomy initiative and exhibition featuring 30 wood-based innovations offering sustainable, forest-based alternatives to fossil raw materials. These innovations demonstrate the high-value use of cellulose-based biomass waste—an area of strong potential for both Finland and Thailand. The exhibition, organized in partnership with Thailand’s National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and the Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC), has toured nine provinces across Thailand throughout 2025.

Thailand is one of the world’s top producers and exporters of cassava, rice, sugar, palm oil, rubber, bamboo, and eucalyptus—resulting in significant agricultural waste with untapped potential for bio-based applications.

The trade mission aims to leverage the visibility created by the exhibition. Participants will engage in high-level meetings with leading Thai conglomerates, investors, and key stakeholders exploring partnerships in bioeconomy and circular solutions. In addition to larger seminars, the focus will be on one-to-one meetings between Finnish and Thai companies.

Thailand is ready for new bioeconomy investments. Between 2019–2024, the Thai Board of Investment approved over 3,000 projects under its Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) program—representing nearly USD 17 billion in investment.

Join us at Team Finland House in Helsinki for a pre-event highlighting business opportunities in Thailand. Read more and register.

This is a unique opportunity to position your company at the forefront of international bioeconomy cooperation.

Who should attend?

This visit is aimed for Finnish wood/agri based bioindustries, and companies with innovations utilizing wood/agri biomass.
