The Team Finland Network invites Finnish companies to join this exclusive visit focused on the rapidly evolving energy sector in Saudi Arabia. The program will spotlight renewable energy, digital energy solutions, energy optimization, storage, and carbon-capture technologies, and will be led by Dr. Sakari Puisto, Minister of Economic Affairs of Finland.
Saudi Arabia is undertaking one of the world’s most ambitious power-sector transformations. Through its National Renewable Energy Program (NREP) and Vision 2030 strategy, the Kingdom is accelerating utility-scale renewables, expanding gas production, phasing out liquid fuels, and building a cutting-edge AI and data-center backbone. By 2030, Saudi Arabia targets a 50/50 energy mix of renewables and gas, with 20 GW of renewable power to be added annually. Grid upgrades, interconnections, and large-scale storage will ensure reliability as renewable capacity grows.

To cover the expenses of arranging the visit program in Saudi Arabia, Business Finland will charge participation fees of:
Business Finland will invoice the participants after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation nor tickets to FII.
Participation is limited to 12 companies (max 2 participants per company) on first come first served bases. Each representative required to register individually. The visit will take place if up to 8 companies sign up.
