Team Finland network in is organizing a Business Delegation visit to Uruguay (Montevideo) on 6-7 November 2025. This visit is led by Mr. Ville Tavio, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development of Finland.
Uruguay presents significant business opportunities in sectors like forestry, with its well-maintained forest resources and sustainable industry; digital technology, benefiting from a skilled workforce and advanced infrastructure for IT services, software development and financial services, due to a stable, well-regulated system supporting fintech and wealth management, as well as renewable energy, with its high use of clean sources and potential for green hydrogen projects.

This delegation visit is aimed at Finnish companies involved in forestry, digitalization, clean energy and green hydrogen.
Practicalities
To cover the costs of arranging the visit to Uruquay on November 6-7, 2025, Business Finland will charge a participation fee as follows:

Micro businesses and SMEs: EUR 1300 + 25,5% VAT per person

Major companies: EUR 1500 + 25,5% VAT per person
A 25% discount on the participation fee will be granted for each additional representative from the participating company. Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
