Finnish digital health capabilities presented at the Digital Health Industry Exhibition DMEA

DMEA in Berlin is the largest gathering of digital health professionals in the DACH region. It is visited by IT professionals, companies, directors, doctors from German, Austrian and Swiss hospitals, clinics and medical institutions. This year approximately 700 manufacturer and suppliers presented their capabilities.

The main theme of the exhibition this year was Insights Into the Diversity of Digital Health. The three-day DMEA (25.-27.4.2023) with its estimated 16,000 visitors provided an excellent platform for productive communication with the German speaking market and for acquiring leads.

What moves health IT today and tomorrow? The Finland Pavilion presented a selection of Finnish leading companies providing digital tools for handling health data, solutions for healthcare insights, and companies creating digital healthcare services. These companies included DreamBroker, Esior, Futurice, Nuanic, Sparke Ergonomics, Veil.ai and Vihta.

The participating companies benefited from Finnish visibility during the exhibition days, visits from delegations to the stand, as well as the second annual Nordic health technology networking event which gathered more than 130 participants to the Nordic embassies.

"German market is undergoing a rapid transition in digital health services. Now is the right time to show the world the leading technologies we have in Finland and to look for collaboration partners. This is where this event has proven to be just the right platform. The German Federal Government has published a Digitization strategy for healthcare and nursing in March 2023 to boost this development", says Sanna Sipilä-Axnix, Senior Advisor, Health & Wellbeing, DACH region.
