CANCELLED - Business Finland Trade Mission to Varna, Bulgaria

Business Finland together with The Embassy of Finland in Sofia is organizing a Trade Mission to Varna, Bulgaria on 14-16 October 2025. The focus of the visit is maritime.

Following the success of our recent webinar on introducing Blue Bulgaria—a maritime sector rich in tradition, innovation, and opportunity—we are pleased to invite you to this trade mission, which includes the inaugural Finnish–Bulgarian Maritime Business Forum, held on-site in the vibrant port city of Varna.

The program includes:

• A private tour of Varna Port
• Site visits to a shipbuilding company, sea-shipping firm and hydro-dynamics center

The visit is aimed for Finnish Innovators, Digital and Automation Pioneers, Sustainability Experts in Maritime, Manufacturing Process Improvers that are determined to discover export and cooperation opportunities on the coast of the Black Sea!

Practicalities

To cover the costs of arranging the visit to Bulgaria, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.

• Micro businesses and SMEs: 380 EUR + 25,5% VAT per person
• Major companies: 450 EUR + 25,5% VAT per person

Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
