Join the growth project
Space
Business Finland's space growth project brings together growth-oriented companies, research organisations and ecosystem actors to develop expertise and new business opportunities and to accelerate international growth.
We help Finnish companies to join European and international networks, projects and cooperation ecosystems more strongly. The most significant opportunities often arise in international cooperation networks.

Who is the growth project suitable for?
-
New space companies
Growth is sought both through the creation of new companies and by making space opportunities available to companies that already operate in related technology or industry sectors. We also want to accelerate the use of space data in completely new applications.
-
Applicants for international networks
We help Finnish companies to join European and international networks, projects and cooperation ecosystems more strongly, such as the projects and programmes of the European Space Agency (ESA). The participation of Finnish companies in these can be increased.
New business from space for Finnish companies
Space is one of the fast-growing industries. It is also an opportunity for companies that have not traditionally operated in the space sector. Satellite data, new technologies, defence and security applications, communications, logistics and environmental monitoring open up new business opportunities for Finnish companies.
As a member of the project, you will have the opportunity to:
- find new business and collaboration opportunities in space value chains
- network with leading international and Finnish actors
- participate in targeted workshops, sparring and peer learning
- learn about markets, funding opportunities, and international programs;
- develop capabilities that support your company's growth, commercialisation and internationalisation

The services are free of charge. Funding only for those who meet Business Finland's customer relationship criteria.

Space Business Forum
Space Business Forum
The Space Business Forum is a community of Finnish space industry actors that meets five times a year. The topics of the meetings are current and future issues in space business and research; technology-related issues and international cooperation initiatives and frameworks within the European Space Agency (ESA), the EU and outside Europe. The most important contributions of the meetings are presentations by companies and research organisations, and especially discussions and networking.
The Space Business Forum acts as an information distributor for the entire Finnish space network. This includes the distribution of official documentation to space operators and, in particular, the transmission of industrial and research needs to the space administration and international actors.
Participation in the Space Business Forum is free of charge, but the Space Business Forum reserves the right to accept members.
