The annual IPCEI on Hydrogen event will be organized on October 5-7, 2026, in Helsinki, Finland, bringing together stakeholders from across Europe’s hydrogen ecosystems for two days of strategic dialogue, technical exchange, and networking opportunities. Nearly 150 participants from all over Europe are expected to attend the general assembly.

Business Finland invites you to join us on October 6, 2026, for an event organized in connection of the Joint General Assembly. Welcome to hear how IPCEI Hydrogen strives to innovate, demonstrate and deploy hydrogen technology and to network with IPCEI Hydrogen member state, European Commission and IPCEI project representatives.

The IPCEIs on hydrogen contribute to building a strong value chain for renewable hydrogen at low cost and support key EU policy objectives such as the European Green Deal, the EU Hydrogen Strategy, and the REPowerEU Plan. A total of 22 EU countries and Norway jointly designed the hydrogen IPCEIs.

Since May 2024, all four IPCEIs have been notified by the European Commission under State Aid rules. The IPCEI are called Hy2Tech, Hy2Use, Hy2Infra and Hy2Move. These four IPCEIs combined consist of almost 125 notified projects. The projects can be considered as large projects as the project budget range spans from several million euros to several hundreds of millions of euros per project.
