This Nordic business and innovation visit connects Finnish companies with solutions for energy efficiency and sustainability for built environment to Singaporean key players and business opportunities.
The 23.-27.10.2023 week content is produced by Embassy of Finland, Nordic trade offices and Nordic Innovation House in Singapore. Business Finland’s Decarbonized Cities program encourages companies to join.
Aim of the participation is to establish new contacts with potential new customers and partners and to enable familiarization to Singapore business ecosystem. The visit is targeted primarily to companies.
The Singapore Green Plan 2030 charts ambitious and concrete targets to advance Singapore’s national agenda on sustainable development. Singapore aims to use cleaner energy sources across all sectors including setting targets for green energy, greener infrastructure and buildings, sustainable towns and districts, and energy cleaner vehicles. Singapore is actively searching for new technologies and innovative solutions to adopt and achieve greener energy transition for a more sustainable future.
One of the main energy efficiency initiative under the Singapore Green Plan 2030 is the Singapore Green Building Masterplan. It has three main goals 80-80-80 to be delivered in by 2030 :
The preliminary list of Singapore based organizations to meet during this business and innovation visit in tailored events and potential site visits includes Real Estate Companies (e.g City Limited (CDL) and CapitaLand ) Innovation Labs (e.g. Smart Urban Co-innovation Lab ) Government Organizations (e.g Building Construction Authority (BCA), Enterprise Singapore, IPI Singapore) , Large Corporates e.g. KONE Singapore and many more. The visit program will take place at the same time of Singapore International Energy Week 2023 gathering global energy ecosystem to Singapore.

Above agenda is subject to changes in content and in timings.
The program cost per company will be max 2 500 EUR (including max 2 participants per company, flights and hotel not included). The final cost is not yet confirmed, but it will not exceed above mentioned 2 500 EUR. SMEs can apply for financial support from Nopef and other potential sources.
Registration for the visit should be done before September 15th.
