After having organized a successful first mission in Paris on March 21st 2023, Business Finland’s low carbon built environment program is organizing a follow-up trade mission to France. The purpose of this trade mission is to create business collaboration opportunities for Finnish companies and get direct contacts in the French market. During the trade mission, Business Finland will invite some of the key players in the French market and organize 1-to-1 meetings with French companies and potential buyers in the Paris area.

Participating in the trade mission will give you a unique opportunity to meet French companies in the construction industry.

As an option, Finnish companies will be offered to participate to the conference Congres National du Batiment Durable that will take place on December 6th in Montpellier. This option will allow Finnish companies who have French speaking representatives (mandatory) to pitch their technologies in front of an audience of French stakeholders.

France is one of the largest construction markets in Europe, and 3 French companies are listed among the top 10 global leaders in the construction industry (VINCI, BOUYGUES, EIFFAGE) with a combined revenue of 50BNS EUR in 2022. These leaders and the overall French Construction industry are sharing the same strategic priorities: carbon footprint reduction & digital innovations. Since 2022, ESG and EU Taxonomy push numerous market players towards sustainability goals, increasing the demand for low-carbon investments. Thus, France represents a major opportunity for Finnish low-carbon solutions.

Who should attend?

The visit is aimed for Finnish companies that have export solutions for low-carbon built environment and want to pursue France as a strategic market or partner. The participating companies should have products/solutions/services for:

  • energy efficiency and the optimization of energy use
  • low carbon building materials
  • digital design, construction, and operation processes
  • data and tools for managing both the built environment lifecycle and smooth everyday life

Kindly notice that participation is limited to 8 companies on a first come – first served basis.
