Business Finland will organize a trade mission to Munich and Erlangen in Germany on November 7-9, 2023. The visit will give Finnish Healthtech and Digital Health companies an opportunity to meet and discuss with potential customers and business partners as well as to explore related business opportunities and gain valuable information in order to accelerate the market entry to Germany.
The goal of the trade mission led by Ms. Päivi Sillanaukee, Special Envoy for Health and Wellbeing, Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, is to get to know the stakeholders of Bavarian health sector and discuss and get feedback for the Finnish companies. The program includes a visit to Digital Health Summit, site visits and meetings with local HealthTech companies such as Siemens Healthineers and Roche, and hospitals.
Bavaria is the largest state in the Federal Republic of Germany by area. Over 13 million people live on an area of around 70,550 km2. GDP per capita is second highest from all German states.
Bavaria is a location for well-known institutions like three Max Planck Institutes, six university hospitals and all six of Germany’s national health centers. In addition, there is BioM in Munich, Germany’s leader in personalized medicine and immunotherapy; Medical Valley in Nuremberg-Erlangen, Germany’s top medical device and digital health hub; and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology in Healthcare (EIT Health) in Munich.

To cover the expenses of arranging the visit, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
